Welcome

What a time that we live in. And it feels like this is just barely the start of a wholte new time. I no longer feel the need to accept that something is not existing, but now I can just use Claude Code or similar AI assistants to help me build it. It took me a while to get onboarded to Claude Code, I was using Codex before and Cursor before that.

But what Claude Opus 4.5 and now Claude Opus 4.6 do are just mindblowing. Here are a few tasks that I was able to solve in the past few weeks:

  • Setup my Raspberry Pi with Zigbee2Mqtt and NodeRED. Claude correctly pointed out what had to be done and did it by itself. I only had to flash a new version of Linux.

  • Build Commento. An simple app that shows unanswered Instagram comments on my posts. I’m too bad at writing back and get distracted way too much. So that helps me to get back to the people that care and write me.

  • Build Clickup Mac Widget. I always get distracted when using Clickup, as there are so many features in there. I started building a widget for my Mac to just show the tasks that are assigned to me.

  • Update Bonbox: I just updated bonbox (my simple accounting app for swiss freelancers) to store files on a different platform than before. I also let it build a whole web app for my apps and it works just flawlessly.

  • Rebuild yannickpulver.com, my photography portfolio. Built a whole offline admin panel for me to create projects and sort images.

  • Built this site yannickpulver.dev and a blog using astro.

It’s quite hard to comprehend the speed we can build things! And I’m all up for it, really excited to put out more new experiments and ideas that come by my way.

I wish you a great weekend!
